Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of importation processes, customs regulations, and HS Codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage importation processes and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of sea and air shipments.
• Monitor and secure complete, accurate, and timely shipping documents from suppliers and forward them to customs brokers for processing.
• Coordinate with brokers, shipping lines, truckers, forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth shipment release and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with importation regulations and customs requirements, including proper tariff classification and verification of HS Codes.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding importation requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct orientation sessions and training programs related to importation processes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of customs brokers, logistics providers, and other vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and streamline import operations.
• Analyze shipment data, investigate causes of delays and non-standard charges, and recommend solutions to optimize costs and operational performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant importation activities.
