Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking an Import Associate to manage import clearance, ensure timely release of shipments, and maintain compliance with regulations. The role involves coordinating with brokers, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and on-time delivery.

Fresh graduates are welcomed, with 1–2 years of related experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to customs, logistics, or supply chain.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of experience in importation, customs clearance, logistics, or international trade operations helpful.
• Strong knowledge of import processes, customs regulations, and HS codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage importation processes and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of sea and air shipments.
• Monitor and secure complete, accurate, and timely shipping documents and forward to customs brokers.
• Coordinate with brokers, shipping lines, truckers, forwarders and other stakeholders for smooth release and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and HS codes.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on import requirements and procedures.
• Conduct orientation sessions and training on import processes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance of brokers and logistics providers to meet SLAs.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
• Analyze shipment data to investigate delays and non-standard charges and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliant import activities.
