Job summary

Digits Trading Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Importation Management Assistant/Associate to ensure imports are compliant, efficient, and cost-effective from initiation to delivery.

You will manage regulatory compliance, documentation, customs clearance, logistics coordination, risk management, and vendor relationships while driving continuous process improvements with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of customs processes, import/export regulations, and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel - Pivot
• At least 1 year of experience in importation, logistics, or supply chain management
• Fresh Graduates are open to apply

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all imports adhere to laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
• Documentation Management: Handling invoices, certificates of origin, and customs declarations with accuracy.
• Customs Clearance: Coordinating with brokers or managing clearance processes with authorities.
• Logistics Coordination: Working with shipping companies and freight forwarders to move goods.
• Risk Management: Identifying risks and developing contingency plans for delays or compliance issues.
• Vendor Management: Maintaining relationships with suppliers, brokers, and related parties.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluating and optimizing import processes and staying updated on best practices.
• Communication and Coordination: Keeping internal stakeholders informed and aligning activities across teams.
