Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory tracking for imports/exports.
• Strong problem-solving to resolve shipment delays.

Responsibilities

Scope and Responsibilities:

Import and Export Management

• Manage all importation and exportation activities to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.
• Process imports and PEZA requirements and support export activities as needed.
• Track, monitor, and follow up on shipment status to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, freight forwarding services, and logistics companies to facilitate seamless logistics operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of shipments.
• Update departments on shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete to prevent shipment delays.
• Verify and request payment for supplier bills and quotations, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries and requests requiring immediate attention, resolving issues that may delay shipments.
• Address and resolve any shipment delays or issues, escalating matters as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Government and Regulatory compliance

• Ensure compliance with PEZA regulations Local and all import and export requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BOC regulations Local and all import and export requirements.
• Oversee the processing of PEZA documents, including maintaining and updating permits (e.g., LOA and other required documentation).
• Renew permits and monitor PEZA processing, collaborating with relevant departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain import and inventory records, updating daily logs to reflect real-time status.
• Monitor inventory levels related to imports, ensuring data accuracy and supporting inventory management goals.

Other Related Tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the PCP team and ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to PCP team as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least Vocational graduate or College undergraduate
• 2-4 years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with regulations related to import/export processes and compliance, particularly with PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority).
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating logistics activities, including managing relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Experience in handling shipping documentation and ensuring accuracy in billing and compliance verification.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and management processes related to imports and exports.
• Proven ability to address and resolve shipment issues and delays, showcasing strong problem-solving skills.
