Job summary

Philippines HVAC Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Importation & Logistics Expert to manage importation, customs, PEZA, and logistics operations for HVAC equipment and construction materials. You will oversee end-to-end processes, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with hands-on PEZA procedures and experience handling HVAC-related imports.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end importation processes, including supplier coordination, shipping arrangements, customs clearance, and final delivery.
• Handle importation of construction materials, HVAC equipment, machinery, spare parts, tools, and other project-related materials.
• Manage PEZA importation procedures, documentation, permits, clearances, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, PEZA, Bureau of Customs, and local logistics providers.
• Prepare, review, and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, certificates of origin, permits, customs documents, and PEZA requirements.
• Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, delivery status, and potential delays, and promptly resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with PEZA, Bureau of Customs, tariff, taxation, importation, and other applicable government regulations.
• Monitor and analyze freight charges, customs duties, taxes, handling, storage, and other logistics costs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, Sales, Project, and Operations teams to ensure the timely availability of imported materials.
• Maintain complete and accurate importation, customs, PEZA, and logistics records.

About the role

About you

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in importation and logistics.




• Hands‑on experience in PEZA importation procedures and documentation is required.




• Experience handling the importation of construction materials, HVAC equipment, machinery, spare parts, tools, or other technical materials is required.




• Strong knowledge of Philippine customs, importation, shipping, and PEZA procedures.




• Proven experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, overseas suppliers, shipping lines, and government agencies.




• Strong negotiation, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.




• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or logistics systems is an advantage.




• Able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
