Job summary

RVS Cargo Services Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Customs Processor to join our Import/Export & Customs team in Binondo, Manila.

This full-time role focuses on managing customs documentation, liaising with authorities, and ensuring shipments comply with all legal requirements. You will handle import/export documentation, classify goods, monitor clearance timelines, and maintain meticulous records while staying updated on regulatory changes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding.
Strong knowledge of Philippines customs procedures and tariff classifications.
Familiarity with customs documentation systems and software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good communication with clients and officials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade.
Customs brokerage certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate customs documents (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, forms).
Process imports/exports per regulations and company procedures.
Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and clients.
Review shipping documents for completeness before submission.
Classify goods per HS Schedule and determine duties.
Monitor shipment status through clearance.
Maintain records of all customs transactions.
Resolve discrepancies in documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Inform clients about requirements and clearance timelines.
Stay updated on changes to customs rules.
