About the role

RVS CARGO SERVICES INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Export Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in Binondo, Manila. As the Export Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and compliant export operations of our company, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of export shipments.

What you’ll be doing

1. Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure space, negotiate rates, and resolve shipment issues.
2. Monitored export documentation processes (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, COO, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients and regulatory authorities.
3. Implemented process improvements that reduced shipment delays, optimized cost efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
4. Oversaw end-to-end export operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and shipment scheduling, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
5. Supervised and trained export coordinators and staff, monitoring performance and providing guidance to improve efficiency and accuracy on daily operations.
6. Collaborating with other departments to address any operational issues and deliver seamless customer service.

What we’re looking for

1. Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree (any course)
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in export operations or a related field
3. Thorough understanding of international trade regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels
6. Proficient in using relevant software and systems for export management and documentation
7. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing a team
8. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and compliance of export activities
