Job summary

Lucerne Group is seeking an Import Coordinator in Metro Manila to monitor and coordinate air and sea import shipments. You will work with suppliers, shippers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance and timely delivery.

The role requires at least 1 year of importation experience, familiarity with import documentation, and strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel and coordination with multiple stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Customs Administration or related course preferred.
• Experience in importation is a plus.
• Knowledge of tariff classification and import procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate air and sea import shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shippers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Follow up on shipment schedules, documents, and customs clearance.
• Check import documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in the computation of import taxes and duties.

About the role

About you

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to monitor multiple shipments
• Knowledge of tariff classification of goods
• Knowledge of importation procedures and documentation
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
