Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 1 year of experience in refund processing, bank reconciliation, or general accounting
- Experience in Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) is preferred
Skills and Specialized Knowledge
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of refund processing and collections
- Understanding of the Independent Dispute Resolution process
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis and reconciliation tools
- Knowledge of laws governing communications and data privacy

Responsibilities
- Develop and organize reports in formats that support leadership review.
- Perform daily reconciliations of outstanding refunds across all 15 Independent Dispute Resolution Entities (IDREs).
- Analyze payer remittances and IDR settlement data to validate refund eligibility.
- Process refund transactions in accordance with internal controls, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with refund team leads and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records.
- Identify and elevate discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Assist with month-end reporting and internal audits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve outstanding refund items.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to improve processes.
- Apply knowledge of the arbitration process when managing refund matters.
- Communicate professionally in all internal and external interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
