Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor Officer to provide technical support in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tendering, value engineering, and project cost management for office fit-out, renovations, and design-and-build projects.

You will prepare take-offs, BOQs/BOMs, vendor evaluations, and cost documentation, collaborate with PM, Design & Engineering, Procurement, and Operations, and identify cost-saving opportunities while assisting the Senior QS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, or Cost Control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs/BOMs, and cost estimates for office fit-out, renovation, and design-and-build projects.
• Develop and maintain standard RFPs, Bill of Cost, and Bill of Materials templates.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify quantities and project requirements.
• Prepare bid comparisons and evaluation summaries for review by the Senior QS/PM.
• Assist in tender documents, vendor quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor project costs against the budget and maintain cost records and variances.
• Maintain BOM/BOQ and ensure proper documentation for project implementation.
• Support site visits to verify quantities and conditions when required.
