Job summary

Omnium International is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and cost management activities across MEP packages on major building projects. This role suits an early-career QS or Estimator with hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge.

You will measure quantities from drawings, prepare BOQs, cost estimates and tender documentation, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with CostX and a solid understanding of MEP services are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying or estimating.
• Experience in MEP measurement on large projects.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• PRC license is an advantage.
• Proficiency with CostX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial and cost management activities across MEP packages on major building projects.
• Assist with measurement and quantification of MEP works from drawings, specifications and other project documentation.
• Prepare and review BOQs, schedules of quantities and other measurement documentation.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation for MEP packages.
• Maintain accurate measurement records and ensure quantities are checked and reconciled against drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Utilize CostX to undertake measurements, quantify works and support cost management activities.
