Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Payroll Analyst in the Philippines, based in Taguig. The role handles end-to-end payroll for a designated group, with emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with payroll regulations.

Hybrid work arrangement with a night shift. You will coordinate with corporate payroll and other departments, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end payroll processing for designated group with limited supervision.
• Review and process payroll transactions per department guidelines.
• Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission; audit entries and validate reports.
• Administer garnishments and track all related payments/orders.
• Research pay or pay-related items and provide timely resolutions.
• Edit/approve time records in Kronos T&A system.
• Understand taxation of earnings and garnishment calculations.
• Comply with state/local tax regulations for employee records.
• Communicate with Corporate Payroll Team regarding payroll issues.
• Analyze and determine approaches for manual checks, overpayments, deductions, and final payouts per guidelines.
• Prepare and contribute to reports as directed.
• Understand dependencies with other HR/Finance departments.
• Identify and propose process improvements.
• Complete audit checklist and SOX reports.
• Assist with special projects as requested.
