Job summary

Tenet Global Business Center, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Analyst in the Philippines to handle end-to-end payroll processing for a designated group.

The role requires knowledge of payroll principles and state/local tax regulations, with emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and professional communication. The successful candidate will review and process payroll transactions, reconcile data, and administer garnishments while collaborating with the Corporate Payroll Team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of payroll or relevant experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll processing and administrative tasks with limited supervision.
• Review and process payroll transactions following department guidelines.
• Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission, audit entries and reports after transmission.
• Administer garnishments and track any returns or halted payments/orders.
• Research payroll/pay items and provide timely resolutions.
• Edit/approve time records in Kronos T&A system.
• Understand taxation of earnings and perform garnishment calculations.
• Understand state/local tax regulations for proper taxation.
• Communicate payroll issues with Corporate Payroll Team and other parties.
• Analyze and determine approaches for manual checks, overpayments, adjustments and final payouts.
• Prepare and contribute to reports as directed.
• Understand dependencies with other HR/Finance departments.
• Identify and propose process improvements.
• Complete audit checklist and SOX reports.
• Assist with special projects as requested.
