Job summary

Glass Lewis seeks a motivated L1 Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT Operations team in a hybrid setup based at our Makati office, with three days of in-person work weekly.

The role centers on maintaining and supporting Windows-based systems for end users, implementing security measures, and ensuring high availability. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a similar Windows-focused environment and a related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Windows environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience in Ticket Handling (ServiceNow, Zoho, Solarwinds, JIRA).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• End user support across a wide range of Microsoft tools and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and laptops.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect systems and data.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute projects.
