Job summary

Glass Lewis is seeking a motivated L1 Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT Operations team in our Makati office. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting Windows-based systems for users, with a path for growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will provide end-user support, manage user accounts, and assist with security measures, while working in a hybrid schedule with regular in-person attendance three days a week at the Makati office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Windows environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Network Infra knowledge is good to have.
• Experience in Ticket Handling (ServiceNow, Zoho, SolarWinds, JIRA, ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for Microsoft tools and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and laptops.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot for high availability.
• Perform patches, updates, and backups.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Support security measures to protect systems and data.
• Resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with IT team on projects.
