Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years in accounts payable/receivable or similar finance role.
• Experience in the travel industry is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the main Accounting inbox, ensuring timely distribution and responses to inquiries.
• Process and validate supplier invoices for prepayment and post-payment, including invoice matching and reconciliation.
• Generate accurate customer invoices, statements, and other billing documents.
• Process and reconcile supplier and customer payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile supplier statements, debtor accounts, and bank transactions; investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier, customer, consultant, and internal inquiries in a professional manner.
• Raise and follow up on invoice discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments.
• Maintain creditor and debtor records for data accuracy.
• Produce and monitor Accounts Receivable ageing reports and support collections.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Finance operations.
