Job summary

PM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations. You will ensure accuracy, timely processing, and statutory compliance across payroll cycles, tax, and deductions.

Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, reconciling data, generating reports, and supporting audits. Strong Excel and payroll/HRSIS experience, with knowledge of Australian payroll and Fair Work regulations, are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, deductions, and leave balances.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Calculate and process payroll-related taxes, government contributions, and other mandatory deductions.
• Reconcile payroll data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for management, Finance, and audit requirements.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee and payroll data.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll records and required documentation.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume or complex environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compensation and benefits administration, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience processing Australian payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, STP, GST, and BAS.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work regulations, Enterprise Agreements, Australian taxation, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll and HRIS platforms, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong payroll reconciliation, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
