Job summary

Cloudstaff is hiring an Assistant Finance Operations Manager in a hybrid role based in Metro Manila. You will supervise an offshore finance operations team handling AP, AR, cash application, and reconciliations, ensuring SLAs and process controls are met.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Procurement to drive process improvements, automation, and accurate month-end close while supporting onboarding and training of staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting operations, finance ops, shared services, AP/AR, or related experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience supporting recurring finance processes with SLAs, quality controls, process documentation, and issue resolution.
• Exposure to ERP systems, workflow tools, reporting platforms, and finance process automation initiatives.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, reconciliations, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offshore finance operations team members responsible for AP/AR processing, vendor maintenance, invoice coding, payment processing, and reconciliations.
• Oversee daily workflow assignments, queues, and ensure timely completion per SLAs.
• Review transactions, reconciliations, exception reports, and supporting schedules for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Assist with AP/AR reconciliations related to acquisitions and integrations.
• Support integrations between Workday and banking platforms and payment solutions.
• Monitor client payment portals and resolve payment-related issues with stakeholders.
• Track and report metrics such as aging, productivity, error rates, and SLAs.
• Identify inefficiencies and support automation, workflow improvements, and AI-enabled productivity.
• Document procedures, train team members, and support offshoring transitions.
• Escalate operational risks and processing exceptions to Finance Operations Manager.
