Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions (Philippines) Corporation is seeking a Payroll Specialist to provide SME governance across APAC payroll countries. You will lead root cause analysis, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a hybrid Manila-based payroll team.

The role requires expert payroll knowledge, strong documentation skills, and the ability to train and mentor team members while managing escalations and changes across the payroll lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of payroll experience in regional/shared services or multinational environment.
• Expertise in one or more APAC payroll jurisdictions.
• Experience managing payroll escalations and controls.
• Experience developing process documentation and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support and governance oversight for APAC payroll countries.
• Validate payroll results prior to sign-off and ensure compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Own payroll process documentation, SOPs, and governance artefacts.
• Develop payroll training materials and support onboarding.
• Identify process improvements and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
