Job summary

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team in Parañaque City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role focuses on maintaining and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems critical to our industrial cold storage operations. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, a recognised NC2 or HVAC licence, and a strong knowledge of EPA refrigerant regulations.

Qualifications

• NC2 or HVAC and refrigeration licence from a recognised institution.
• 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of EPA refrigerant handling regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Physical ability for lifting, heights and confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

About the role

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join our growing team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems that are essential to our industrial cold storage operations. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of our climate control systems, which are vital to preserving our clients' temperature-sensitive products and maintaining operational efficiency across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Diagnose system malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment, and implement appropriate corrective measures
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all air conditioning and refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns to minimise downtime in our cold storage facilities
• Charge, recover and recycle refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations and company procedures
• Document all service work, maintenance activities and repairs in detail to maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate system upgrades and facility improvements
• Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any deficiencies or safety hazards

What we're looking for

• NC2 or a licence in HVAC and refrigeration from a recognised technical institution or trade school
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair
• Proven experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Sound knowledge of EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling and environmental compliance
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints and service manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to identify system issues efficiently
• Physical capability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy equipment, working at heights and in confined spaces
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for attending multiple service locations
• A safety-conscious mindset and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements
