Optimal Systems Distribution, Inc. is hiring an HVAC Technician in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. You will install, commission, and service split-type, window-type, and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring safety and reliability on every job.
The role requires 1–3 years of hands-on experience, HVAC certifications (TESDA RAC NC II/NC III an advantage), and strong diagnostic skills. You will educate customers and maintain service reports, with overtime and field travel as needed.
Install, set up, and commission HVAC and air-conditioning systems, including split-type, window-type, and commercial units.
Carry out preventive maintenance by inspecting, cleaning, testing, and servicing HVAC equipment to maintain efficiency and reliable operation.
Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults in HVAC systems.
Perform operational testing and system evaluations following installation, maintenance, or repair to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and equipment manuals to support accurate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Adhere to established safety standards and ensure the proper use and handling of tools, equipment, and refrigerants.
Prepare and maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and other related documentation.
Educate customers on the proper operation of HVAC systems and recommend routine maintenance practices to maximize equipment lifespan.
Respond promptly to service requests and provide effective solutions while delivering excellent customer service.
High School Diploma or a Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
TESDA RAC NC II or NC III certification is an advantage.
Minimum of 1–3 years of practical experience in HVAC installation, preventive maintenance, and repair.
Hands-on experience with split-type, window-type, and commercial HVAC systems is preferred.
Solid understanding of HVAC operations, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and refrigerant handling procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals accurately.
Knowledge of occupational safety standards and industry best practices.
Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Physically capable of performing job requirements, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Willing to render overtime, work on on-call schedules, and travel for field assignments when necessary.
