Job summary

CELLAR SOLUTIONS CORPORATION is seeking a Junior Refrigeration Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. You will participate in testing, commissioning, and field service across Metro Manila, with opportunities to grow technical expertise and customer service skills.

The role requires hands-on RAC experience, willingness to travel, and capability to lift up to 25 kg while working in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related technical degree.
• At least one year of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, repair, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and electronic control systems.
• Possesses troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical and refrigeration equipment.
• TESDA NC II in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) Servicing or equivalent qualification; NC II preferred.
• Willing to travel for field service assignments within and outside Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, cold storage, freezers, chillers, and AC equipment.
• Diagnose and assist in repairing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, relays, valves, and fans.
• Monitor refrigerant levels, perform leak detection and repairs.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and equipment checklists.
• Coordinate with clients regarding service schedules and requirements.
• Perform field service assignments within and outside Metro Manila.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, cold storage systems, freezers, chillers, and air-conditioning equipment.
• Diagnose and assist in repairing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults.
• Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, relays, valves, and fans.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and assist in leak detection and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and equipment checklists.
• Coordinate with clients or internal departments regarding service schedules and maintenance requirements.
• Perform field service assignments within and outside Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Graduate of aVocational Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or aBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or any related technical course.
• At least one (1) year of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, repair, or maintenance.
• Experience in servicing commercial refrigeration systems, including at least one or more of these:
• Walk-in Coolers
• Walk-in Freezers
• Display Chillers
• Commercial Refrigerators
• HVAC Chillers
• Cold Storage Equipment
• Experience in servicing wine chillers or wine preservation systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and electronic control systems.
• Has troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical and refrigeration equipment.
• Must possess a validTESDA NC II in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) Servicingor an equivalent qualification.
• Applicants without an NC II certification may still be considered, provided they obtain the certification within one (1) year from the date of hiring.
• Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel for field service assignments within and outside Metro Manila.
• Willing to be assigned inQuezon CityandMakati City.
• Capable of lifting up to25 kg, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
