Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer for Plant Room Retrofit work in the Philippines. The role involves designing equipment, sizing, and preparing bid documents, while building long-term customer relationships and coordinating with multiple internal teams to deliver retrofit projects.

The ideal candidate has a background in engineering, 2–3 years of direct sales in HVAC, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2-3 years’ DIRECT SALES experience required.
• Knowledge in HVAC system, Chiller Plant, Airside, Energy Services and Building Services is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC/Mechanical Contracting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project design activities including equipment selection and sizing per customer requirements.
• Attend on-site surveys and pre-bid walkthroughs; present proposals to customers.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for quotations and requirements.
• Prepare costing sheets and update estimating logs for accuracy.
• Foster customer growth and loyalty through continuous support.
