Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering is required.

• Knowledge of power transmission and distribution systems, switchyards, transformers, breakers, relays, HV equipment.
• Familiarity with NGCP standards and electrical codes is advantageous.
• Experience reading single-line diagrams, protection schemes, electrical layouts, and drawings.
• Knowledge of HV testing and commissioning activities.

Job description

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.

• Must be a Licensed Electrical/Civil Engineer (REE/RCE/RME).

• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in High Voltage (HV) projects.

• Hands-on experience in Substation Construction, Testing, Commissioning, Operations, or Maintenance.

• Experience working with 230kV, or higher voltage systems is preferred.

• Knowledge of power transmission and distribution systems, switchyards, transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, and associated HV equipment.

• Familiarity with National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) standards and electrical codes is an advantage.

• Experience in reading and interpreting single-line diagrams (SLD), protection schemes, electrical layouts, and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance testing, transformer testing, relay testing, and system energization.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar applications.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.

• Experience in EPC, power plant, transmission line, or substation projects is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to High Voltage systems and substations.
