AMD Electrical Contractors Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years experience to perform power system studies, develop SLDs, and ensure PEC/IEC/IEEE compliance. You will evaluate substations, transmission, and distribution networks, review vendor submissions, and prepare technical reports.
The role includes collaboration with design and construction teams and on-site support during commissioning. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering; REE/PEE is a plus.
Perform power system studies including:
Load flow analysis
Short circuit analysis
Protection coordination studies
Arc flash studies (if applicable)
Evaluate system performance for substations, transmission, and distribution networks.
Develop and review single line diagrams (SLD) and power system schematics.
Specify and review electrical equipment ratings such as transformers, switchgear, breakers, and protective devices.
Review vendor technical submissions and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and recommendations.
Ensure designs and studies comply with:
Philippine Electrical Code (PEC)
IEC / IEEE standards
Utility, client, and regulatory requirements
Support system safety, reliability, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Assist in securing approvals from clients, utilities, or regulatory bodies when required.
Coordinate with design engineers, project engineers, and construction teams.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and site inspections.
Address technical clarifications and system issues promptly.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) is an advantage
Minimum 2–5 years experience in power system analysis or design
Experience in power utilities, EPC, or construction projects is preferred
Proficient in power system software such as ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT, or equivalent
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
