Job description

Overview

The position ensures the proper implementation and continual improvement of documented procedures and instructions in Human Resource Department.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the entire department as an individual contributor. Track progress and set strategy to target the HR objectives.
  • Manage the creation, development and implementation of HR policies and organizational strategies.
  • Provide support and guidance to Management and employees; partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Design, recommend and implement processes and systems of creative compensation schemes, and overall employee welfare programs and services to maintain an efficient and highly motivated and productive workforce.
  • Perform end to end tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to:
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Employee Relations and Satisfactions: Ensure timely and consistent application of engagement and recognition programs to boost productivity, recognition, and employee morale.
  • Labor Laws and Legal Compliance: Handle grievance and arbitration procedures, performance issues, disciplinary actions and development of performance management plans.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Timekeeping and payroll of all employees. Monitor employee attendance (tardiness and absenteeism) and issues disciplinary memorandums as necessary. Process and assist employees with government mandated benefits. Facilitate the process and documentation required for employees to obtain benefits from SSS, Pag-Ibig and PhilHealth.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the preparation and organization of trainings, seminars and events.
  • Analyze HR statistics and metrics like employee performance, turnover, retention, and cost per hire rate.
  • Maintain and secure 201 files and information.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO/COO.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources and other related courses.
  • Demonstrated strong experience in a leadership role.
  • Must have a strong comprehensive experience and knowledge in recruitment processes and strategies, policy making and implementation, training and development, employee relations, labor relations, organizational development, conflict resolution and management and other aspects of HR.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations, and guidelines related to HR and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with basic office applications program.
  • Must be willing to work in BGC Taguig City.
