We are seeking an HR Supervisor to support our head office and construction project sites in Cebu. Reporting to the HR Director, you will supervise day-to-day HR operations, work with project leaders on manpower needs, and help ensure that employees receive timely, consistent support.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who can balance recruitment demands, employee relations, accurate timekeeping, and sound HR administration in a project‑based environment.
Recruitment and Staffing
Supervise end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
Coordinate manpower requirements with department heads and project teams.
Ensure timely hiring of qualified personnel for office and project sites.
Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Maintain manpower database and succession planning records.
Employee Relations and Engagement
Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases.
Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Promote employee engagement programs and company activities.
Support management in maintaining positive labour‑management relations.
Performance Management
Monitor implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).
Coordinate performance evaluation schedules and documentation.
Assist department heads in setting KPIs and development plans.
Track employee performance improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits Administration
Oversee administration of payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits.
Ensure timely enrollment and updating of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, and HMO records.
Monitor employee movements including promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
Ensure compliance with statutory and company benefit programmes.
Training and Organisational Development
Identify training needs and coordinate learning programmes.
Maintain employee training records and competency matrixes.
Assist in leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
HR Compliance and Administration
Ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws and government regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and HR procedures.
Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management dashboards.
Ensure proper safekeeping of employee records and confidential information.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a human resources or employee relations role, preferably in the construction or industrial sector
Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
