About the role
As an HR Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR activities, managing HR staff, and serving as a key liaison between management and employees. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of HR service delivery and contributing to the overall success of the company.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating HR team members to ensure efficient execution of HR processes and procedures
Overseeing recruitment and onboarding activities, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and processing new employee documentation
Managing employee relations matters, including handling grievances, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution
Assisting with the administration of benefits programs, payroll processing support, and compliance with employment regulations
Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational objectives
Conducting training and orientation sessions for new employees and existing staff as required
Monitoring workplace compliance with labor laws and industry standards, flagging any issues to senior management
Providing administrative support to senior HR professionals and management on various HR initiatives
Preparing HR reports and documentation for management review and decision-making
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in a human resources role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
Strong knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
Excellent understanding of Philippine labor laws and employment regulations
Proven ability to manage and supervise HR team members effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional HR certification (such as CHRP or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing workplace challenges
