Job summary

• Solid knowledge of Philippine labour laws and compliance.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The HR Supervisor – Generalist is responsible for executing and supervising daily HR operations, with primary focus on driver recruitment, onboarding, and compensation/benefits administration. This role ensures hiring speed, accurate payroll support, and compliance with company policies while maintaining reliable manpower for fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Recruitment & Staffing (Primary)

• Manage end-to-end hiring for drivers and support roles
• Screen applicants based on attendance reliability, tenure history, and discipline
• Schedule and conduct initial interviews
• Maintain daily recruitment pipeline tracker
• Coordinate with departments on manpower requirements
• Ensure fast turnaround from application to deployment

2) Onboarding & Deployment

• Process pre-employment requirements
• Conduct onboarding/orientation (rules, compensation structure, expectations)
• Coordinate medical, documentation, and deployment schedule
• Ensure new hires are fully compliant before deployment

3) Compensation & Benefits Administration

• Assist in payroll preparation and validation
• Ensure accurate computation of personnel earnings (trip rates, incentives, deductions)
• Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies
• Monitor government benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) compliance
• Maintain clear and updated earnings breakdown for personnel

4) Employee Relations & Discipline

• Handle attendance issues, minor disciplinary cases, and incident reports
• Support investigations and documentation for HR cases
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies
• Maintain communication with personnel and staff to reduce attrition

5) HR Operations & Reporting

• Maintain employee 201 files and HR database
• Submit daily/weekly HR reports to management
• Recommend process improvements based on data

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or similar leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing workplace challenges
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical HR practices
• Professional certification such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent HR qualifications is preferred
