About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to serve as the dedicated HR leader for the Philippines site of a global organization. This role will serve as a key HR partner to site leadership, bridging regional HR strategy with day-to-day HR execution in the Philippines. The HR Manager will take ownership of complex employee relations matters, HR compliance, workforce planning, performance management, and other high-impact people initiatives. The role is designed for an experienced HR professional who can independently handle sensitive and high-stakes HR matters, provide sound judgment and guidance to business leaders, and ensure consistent HR practices across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner to Philippines site leadership and translate regional HR strategy into effective day-to-day site execution
- Lead workforce planning and support organizational growth initiatives for the Philippines site
- Coach and develop HRBPs and other HR team members on complex people matters
- Own the investigation and resolution of complex or high-risk employee relations cases
- Act as the escalation point for ER matters requiring higher-level judgment and decision-making
- Oversee site-level HR compliance and identify potential employment-related risks
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with Philippine labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Provide oversight and support for senior and critical hires and review and approve offers that require higher-level HR involvement
- Lead or facilitate cross-business-unit calibration during performance review cycles
- Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to the Philippines HR team
About you
- At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience independently handling complex employee relations matters
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience working within a multi-business-unit, matrix, or complex organizational structure
- Proven experience partnering with and advising senior business leaders
- Experience coaching and developing HRBPs or other HR professionals
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to confidently handle sensitive and high-stakes HR matters
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Mandaluyong
