Prifood Corporation in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to coordinate daily personnel operations and lead high-volume recruitment for operations personnel. The role involves onboarding, regulatory compliance on labour standards, and ensuring payroll data accuracy.
You will work under the Human Resources Manager, develop training programs on GMP and safety, and maintain administrative services and employee relations in a manufacturing environment.
Coordinates daily personnel operations, high-volume plant recruitment, and regulatory compliance regarding food safety and labour standards.
The position will be directly reports to the Human Resources Manager.
High-Volume recruitment & Onboarding – runs fast-faced hiring campaigns for operations personnel through the 3rd Party Sub-contractors to include facilitating of interviews, medical clearances, and orientations of direct-hired support group personnel, supervisors and managers, plant-specific compliance, and smooth integration for operations and support group personnel.
Employee Relations & Retentions – handles daily grievances, resolve shift-level conflicts, and support employee engagement programs tailored to manufacturing or shift environments.
Timekeeping and Benefit Administration – handles processing of accurate timekeeping records from daily attendance tracking, shift schedules to ensuring seamless payroll data preparation that accounts for complex night shift differentials, overtime, alongside administering government-mandated and company benefits of employees.
Training & Development – designs, coordinates, and evaluates employee learning programs that focus on critical food safety compliance, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) orientations, basic occupational safety refreshers, technical plant operations, and workforce skills.
Administrative Services – handles availability of employee logistics, office and plant facilities, and corporate support services, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all plant and office personnel while aligning administrative operations with food manufacturing safety standards.
Bachelor’s Degree graduate in Human Resource Management, or Psychology, or Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering, or its equivalent
At least 2 years of solid experience in general HR, payroll, or administrative functions, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), or industrial setting.
Working knowledge of labour legislation.
Proficiency in timekeeping/HRIS with high attention to details.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication abilities to bridge management and labor, problem-solving and decision-making, and time management.
