  • Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Summary

The HR Manager (Generalist) is responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions to support the organization's business objectives in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong leadership skills, sound knowledge of labor laws, and experience supporting both production and office-based employees.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for production, technical, supervisory, and administrative positions.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate assessments, and hiring decisions.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Employee Relations
  • Foster positive employee relations and maintain a productive work environment.
  • Investigate employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Advise managers on employee performance and behavioral issues.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Performance Management
  • Implement and monitor the company's performance management process.
  • Support department managers in setting performance objectives and conducting evaluations.
  • Recommend development plans and succession planning initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Coordinate payroll-related HR activities with the Finance or Payroll team.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive compensation practices.
Learning & Development
  • Identify training needs across departments.
  • Develop and coordinate employee training and leadership development programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and compliance with mandatory training requirements.
HR Policies & Compliance
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and personnel documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management.
HR Operations
  • Supervise HR staff and ensure efficient HR service delivery.
  • Oversee attendance, leave administration, employee records, and HR systems.
  • Support organizational development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in audits and ensure HR documentation is complete and compliant.
Manufacturing HR Support
  • Partner with production leaders to address workforce planning and staffing requirements.
  • Support shift-based operations and workforce scheduling as needed.
  • Help maintain a productive, safe, and compliant workplace.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement programs for plant personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience covering multiple HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling both rank-and-file and supervisory employees.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in ISO-certified or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Professional HR certification is an advantage.
