Job summary

Shakey's Philippines is seeking an HR Business Partner (Manager/Assistant Manager) to support the BU GM in building high-performing restaurant management teams and an engaged workforce. You will partner across Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Standards to drive people excellence.

You will work office-based with regular field work, reporting directly to the CHRO and maintaining a matrix relationship with the BU GM.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in core HR functions: learning and development, talent management, recruitment and employee relations.
• Experience in a restaurant setup is a plus.
• Strong exposure to employee discipline and dealing with a labor union is a plus.
• A 4-year business degree, ideally with exposure to behavioral psychology.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organized, able to prioritize, and steady under deadlines and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Talent Management: Build annual manpower plan with BU GM and ABMs, partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, and support succession planning and performance management.
• Learning & Development: Identify training needs, shortlist talent for promotion, and ensure leadership programs deliver real results.
• Employee Engagement: Oversee disciplinary cases, cascade HR policies, and strengthen morale, productivity and retention across the area.
• Standards: Coach ABMs on HR practices, run HR visits and people audits, and uphold the Code of Conduct.

Are you an HR generalist who loves working side by side with operations? We're looking for an HR Business Partner to support our Business Unit General Manager in building high-performing restaurant management teams and a highly engaged workforce.

• Talent Management: Build the annual manpower plan with the BU GM and Area Business Managers, partner with Talent Acquisition and manpower agencies on hiring, and support succession planning, employee movements and performance management
• Learning & Development: Identify training needs, shortlist talent for promotion, and make sure leadership and development programs deliver real results
• Employee Engagement: Oversee disciplinary cases, cascade HR policies, and strengthen morale, productivity and retention across your area
• Standards: Coach Area Business Managers on HR practices, run HR visits and people audits, and uphold the Code of Conduct
