About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced HRBP Head – Restaurant Operations to lead the human resources business partnering function supporting the organization's restaurant operations. This role will partner closely with operations leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, strengthen workforce effectiveness, improve employee engagement and retention, and foster a high-performing organizational culture.
The ideal candidate has extensive HR leadership experience in multi-site restaurant operations, quick-service restaurants, retail, FMCG, or other fast-paced environments, with a strong understanding of the people challenges and workforce requirements of large-scale operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR Business Partnering function for restaurant operations, providing strategic HR direction and support across multiple stores, branches, or business units.
- Partner with senior management and operations leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
- Oversee workforce planning, manpower deployment, succession planning, and talent management initiatives to ensure adequate staffing and organizational readiness.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and attrition management programs to strengthen workforce stability and improve the employee experience.
- Establish effective feedback mechanisms and employee listening initiatives to understand concerns from restaurant teams and develop timely, practical interventions.
- Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, labor laws, HR policies, performance management, and workplace practices.
- Utilize HR analytics, workforce dashboards, and operational people metrics to identify trends, monitor attrition, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with restaurant operations leaders to address manpower challenges, employee productivity, performance gaps, and organizational development needs.
- Lead culture-building initiatives that promote accountability, collaboration, service excellence, and alignment with organizational values.
- Drive change management and organizational transformation initiatives across restaurant operations.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes across multiple locations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR Business Partnering team to deliver effective and responsive HR support to restaurant operations.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and other HR functions to implement talent, learning and development, compensation, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably supporting multi-site restaurant operations, retail, FMCG, or other fast-paced organizations.
- Strong experience in HR business partnering, HR generalist functions, employee engagement, talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Proven experience supporting large, multi-site, or multi-unit operations with diverse and high-volume workforces.
- Demonstrated track record in managing employee attrition, improving retention, and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, Philippine labor laws, HR policies, and employment practices.
- Experience in HR analytics, workforce dashboards, and using people data to drive operational and strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to lead culture-building, change management, and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence senior management and effectively lead HR teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in the National Capital Region.
