The HR Training Officer provides essential administrative and operational support for all company-wide training and development programs. This role is responsible for the logistics of training sessions, from preparing materials and managing employee attendance to facilitating basic orientation modules. The Training Associate acts as a liaison between the HR department and employees to promote a culture of continuous learning and high engagement.
Coordinate all logistics for training sessions, including venue setup, technical equipment checks, and material preparation (handouts, kits, certificates).
Manage the Training Calendar, ensuring no conflicts with payroll cut-offs or major retail events.
Assist in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by distributing surveys and consolidating results for the Supervisor.
Lead the New Employee Orientation (NEO) for Retail and Head Office hires, covering company history, mission, and basic policies.
Facilitate "Soft Skills" refresher courses (e.g., Customer Service Excellence or Telephone Etiquette) under the guidance of the HR Supervisor.
Act as a "Shadow" or co-facilitator for technical system training (e.g., Yahshua or Abba).
Assist the Training/OD Supervisor in organizing monthly engagement activities (e.g., Birthday Celebrations, Holiday Events, or Recognition Programs).
Create internal communications and newsletters to keep employees informed about upcoming HR activities.
Maintain the Individual Training Records of all employees in their 201 files or digital databases.
Generate post-training reports, including attendance summaries and participant feedback scores.
Presentation & Public Speaking: Ability to lead orientations and small group discussions clearly and confidently.
Event Coordination: Strong organizational skills to manage room bookings, catering, and equipment for employee events.
Graphic Design & Content Creation: Basic ability to use tools (like Canva or PowerPoint) to create visually appealing training decks and engagement posters.
Administrative Accuracy: Meticulous tracking of training hours and employee participation records.
Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and approachable demeanor when answering employee queries about growth opportunities.
