HR Supervisor

Role Summary
The HR Supervisor leads employee and labor relations for the business, owns statutory and regulatory compliance, and drives recruitment delivery across all sites. This is a hands-on role reporting to senior management, with payroll and benefits oversight handled in coordination with Finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations and Discipline (Core Priority)
- Own end-to-end case handling: incident reports, notice-to-explain, administrative hearings, and disciplinary decisions.
- Advise line managers on progressive discipline, due process, and documentation standards.
- Handle grievances, workplace disputes and conflict resolution; elevate material risk early.
- Manage employee engagement, retention and exit processes, including clearance and separation documentation.
2. Labor Law and Government Compliance (Core Priority)
- Own compliance with the Labor Code, DOLE regulations and all applicable statutory issuances.
- Maintain and submit DOLE reports, establishment records, and workplace safety documentation.
- Handle labor inspections, SENA conferences and NLRC case support with counsel.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update company policy accordingly.
3. Recruitment and Staffing Delivery (Core Priority)
- Own the full hiring cycle: workforce requisition, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer and onboarding.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for plant, sales and corporate roles across sites.
- Manage job postings, agency and referral channels; track time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
- Drive onboarding quality so new hires reach productivity faster.
4. Performance Management (Core Priority)
- Run the performance review cycle, including goal setting, calibration and documentation.
- Support managers on performance improvement plans and capability conversations.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records for performance, movement and succession.
5. Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Oversee payroll inputs - attendance, leave, overtime and adjustments - for Finance to process.
- Administer statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company benefit programs.
- Verify accuracy of payroll releases and resolve employee inquiries.
6. Team Supervision
- Lead and develop the HR generalist team; allocate work and monitor delivery.
- Maintain HR metrics and report to management on a fixed cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- 4-6 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrable depth in employee relations and Philippine labor law - hands-on case handling required.
- Experience recruiting for plant, sales or multi-site operations is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of DOLE reporting, statutory benefits and HRIS systems.
- Excellent judgment, documentation discipline and communication skills.
