We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Employee and Labor Relations Specialist to join our team and support the creation of a productive work environment that aligns with our organizational goals! In this role, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to employees, participating in recruitment and dismissal processes, and performing employee background checks. You will also communicate HR policies, collect and analyze employee data, and ensure compliance with the labor law and regulations.
1. Foster positive employee relations and employee support by:
Conducting training such as, but not limited to, code of discipline, employee disciplinary action cases, and grievance mechanism.
Communicating policies and memos about Human Resources, compensation, and benefits, etc.
Handling employee grievances and offering counseling services to employees.
Conducting exit survey and/or interviews.
2. Ensure proper implementation of the disciplinary action process by:
Preparing and monitoring incident reports and disciplinary cases daily.
Collecting and analyzing data to be used for investigation of the cases.
Conducting administrative hearings for internal cases and attending mediation procedures and/or hearings on both labor and criminal cases.
Collaborating with the outsourced legal counsel and third‑party consultants for legal advice, administrative hearings, and mediation procedures.
Checking the completeness of the minutes of the meeting for meetings, hearings, and cases.
3. Improve hiring of the right employees by:
Performing employment verification and character reference check.
Performing employee background checks and verifying information.
4. Maintain proper monitoring of performance by:
Monitoring team kpis daily.
Updating trackers daily.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Psychology, or a related field
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
Proficiency in MS Office and database software
