Job summary

Vertex Project Solutions seeks an experienced HR & Recruitment Specialist to own recruitment in our Manila team. The role requires hands-on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, with strong stakeholder engagement across local and expatriate management.

You will build pipelines, partner with universities for internships and graduate recruitment, and represent Vertex at career events while delivering clear assessments and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HR, with strong hands-on recruitment experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing recruitment from initial sourcing through to successful placement.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confident communicating with Australian/expatriate managers and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from job advertising and candidate sourcing through to screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Work closely with local and expatriate managers to understand recruitment requirements, role expectations and candidate profiles.
• Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, universities and other recruitment channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges and training institutions for internships, OJT and graduate recruitment.
• Represent Vertex at career fairs, university events and recruitment activities.
• Conduct structured interviews and provide management with clear candidate assessments and recommendations.
• Coordinate interview schedules, references, offers and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate databases and hiring documentation.
• Monitor recruitment activity, identify bottlenecks and provide regular hiring updates to management.

About the role

Vertex Project Solutions is seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Specialist to join our growing Manila team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of the recruitment function, identify high-quality candidates and build strong talent pipelines to support the continued growth of the business. You should be proactive in your approach — comfortable sourcing candidates directly, picking up the phone, building relationships with universities and professional networks, and actively seeking out talent rather than simply waiting for applications. You'll work closely with local and expatriate management, requiring strong communication, sound judgement and the confidence to provide clear recommendations.
