Job summary

Agoda in Cairo is seeking an HR Generalist on a 12-month contract to support the People Team. You will manage onboarding, lifecycle activities, and local compliance, partnering with the Cairo Business Partner and other specialist teams.

The role emphasizes accurate HR data, timely documentation, and proactive process improvements. Fluency in Arabic and English is required to operate across a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• At least 3 years in HR operations/administration or an HR Generalist role.
• Experience with HR documentation and local compliance requirements (Egypt).
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, changes, and offboarding with timely docs and system updates.
• Maintain employee records in HR systems and local trackers.
• Prepare routine employment letters and HR documents.
• Coordinate information for Payroll and Benefits teams.
• Respond to routine HR queries and escalate complex matters.
• Lead process improvements and delivery planning.
• Build relationships with employees, managers, and teams.
• Escalate employee relations concerns as needed.
