Job Description
The HR Supervisor is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Full Employee Lifecycle Management: Recruitment and Onboarding — oversee the processes of attracting, hiring, and successfully integrating new employees into the organization; Performance Management — develop frameworks for setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and managing underperformance; Learning and Development — create opportunities for employee growth through training, mentorship, and career development initiatives.
- HR Policies, Procedures, and Programs: Policy Development — craft and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's values and objectives; Culture Building — establish programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment that drives employee engagement and retention.
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaboration with Business Leaders — work closely with department heads and other leaders to understand their workforce needs and offer tailored HR solutions that contribute to the organization's success.
- Timekeeping & Payroll Support: Payroll Processing Support — assist with the payroll process by ensuring that employee timekeeping data (hours worked, overtime, leave) is accurately recorded and collaborate with payroll administrators to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to implement workplace safety programs and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with construction industry regulations.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other benefits; ensure employees are enrolled in the correct plans and provide guidance on eligibility, options, and enrollment periods; address inquiries and assist with resolving issues related to claims or coverage.
- Incentive Program Management: Support the administration of employee incentive and bonus programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fair, accurate administration; track performance metrics for eligible employees and ensure timely disbursement. Collaborate with the Billing Office to validate hours billed to clients and cross-check timesheets, attendance records, and project logs for accuracy and contractual compliance; ensure proper documentation and approvals for overtime or special billing adjustments before client submission.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Psychology or BS Human Resources Development Management
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Analytical and meticulous with details
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Computer-literate — advanced knowledge of MS Office
