The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, labor relations, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures that HR strategies and programs support the organization's goals while fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, while ensuring manpower requirements are filled in a timely manner.
Promote a positive work environment by fostering healthy employee relations and engagement. Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently while ensuring compliance with the Labor Code and company policies.
Oversee the performance management process by coordinating performance evaluations, supporting managers in setting performance goals, and recommending employee development, succession planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll coordination, leave administration, statutory benefits, and government compliance. Conduct salary reviews and recommend improvements to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Assess organizational training needs, develop annual learning and development plans, coordinate internal and external training programs, and monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives to support employee growth and organizational performance.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws, DOLE regulations, and company policies while maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare manpower plans, HR reports, and workforce analytics to support management decision-making. Monitor key HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend initiatives that enhance workforce effectiveness and organizational performance.
Lead and supervise the Human Resources team, oversee daily HR operations, manage the department budget, participate in management meetings, and support strategic initiatives, organizational development, and continuous improvement efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience in healthcare or hospital operations is an advantage.
