Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to lead HR and people operations for a restaurant team of 50–60 employees. You will own HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, and engagement, with autonomy and direct impact on the employee experience.
This standalone role requires 3–5 years' experience in hospitality HR, strong communication, and the ability to start immediately and work Saturdays.
We’re looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to lead HR and people operations for our restaurant team of approximately 50–60 employees.
This is a standalone HR role covering recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, training, and employee engagement—ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and making a direct impact.
Manage day-to-day HR operations and maintain accurate employee records.
Handle employee documentation, employment contracts, attendance, leave, and other HR requirements.
Support onboarding, probationary periods, regularization, and employee movements.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are properly communicated and implemented.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Conduct initial interviews and coordinate succeeding interviews with department heads.
Work with management on manpower requirements and help ensure vacancies are filled promptly.
Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for restaurant positions.
Handle employee concerns and workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
Work closely with managers on attendance, performance, conduct, and disciplinary matters.
Prepare and maintain proper documentation for employee cases.
Help foster a positive, professional, and respectful workplace.
Coordinate ongoing Front-of-House (FOH) training to maintain and improve service standards.
Organize refresher training on guest service, product knowledge, communication, upselling, and handling guest concerns.
Identify training needs and coordinate with managers and supervisors on employee development.
Work with the Chefs regarding kitchen training while supporting the documentation and coordination of training activities.
Support employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Help promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a strong service culture.
Work with management to address employee concerns and improve the overall employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or service-oriented environment.
Strong hands-on experience in HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, and disciplinary handling.
Good understanding of Philippine labor practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized, proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently.
Able to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Someone who enjoys taking ownership and having a direct impact on the employee experience and workplace culture.
Able to start work immediately
Willing to work on Saturdays
