Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Labor Relations Officer to support labor and employee relations, analyze concerns, and coordinate with government agencies on compliance with labor laws.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or HR, at least 1 year in HR or labor relations, and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The Labor Relations Officer is responsible for supporting and managing the company’s labor and employee relations activities. The role involves analyzing labor-related concerns, supporting negotiations with employee organizations, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, and coordinating with government agencies, legal counsel, and internal departments on labor-related matters.
Analyze labor-related data, policies, compensation, benefits, and working conditions to support negotiations.
Research and provide guidance on employment laws and labor regulations.
Represent the company in labor negotiations, meetings, and discussions with employee organizations.
Coordinate with DOLE, NLRC, legal counsel, and relevant departments on labor-related matters.
Assist in the preparation of negotiation documents, agreements, and memoranda.
Handle employee and labor concerns professionally and confidentially.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field; law or labor relations units are an advantage.
At least 1 year of HR or administrative experience, preferably in labor relations and negotiations.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
Able to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and tact.
