Job summary

The SM Store (SM Mart Inc.) in the Philippines seeks a Manager, HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with store goals and to foster strong partnerships across HR functions to deliver value-adding services and a positive employee experience.

You will lead advisory relationships with branch leaders, support performance management and IDP/PDP/PIP initiatives, implement HR systems, and drive engagement and wellness programs like SM Life and core values.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Bachelor's degree; advanced study in HRM/OD or Business Management is an advantage.
• At least 4 years of work experience in an HR leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build advisory relationships with branch partners and stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with HR Zone Head and Employee Services Teams to ensure efficient service delivery in the branch.
• Ensure branch plantilla is in place and resources are available at target levels.
• Coach and guide branch partners on performance management; support IDPs/PDPs/PIPs and talent interventions.
• Implement HR Systems in the branch; ensure policies are followed and data accuracy.
• Implement Compensation and Benefits functions in the branch.
• Partner with branch teams on employee engagement and wellness programs (SM Life, Culture, Values).

Education

Bachelor's degree in HR Management / Business Administration
