Job summary

Jobtailor in Cebu City seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. You will partner with leaders to drive performance, optimize talent management, and ensure compliance with labor laws in a dynamic B2B environment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to implement HR policies across functions. You will shape workforce planning, develop programs, and act as consultant to leadership. Some travel to support multiple units may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, management, or related field.
  • 5+ years HRBP or HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience with DOLE or NLRC labor disputes and employee grievances.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel and occasional after-hours work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general HR support for personnel, projects, or units.
  • Support staffing, retention, orientation, career development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, talent management, and communications.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with company standards and are correctly communicated and implemented.
  • Provide guidance and support to resolve supply/demand issues and contribute to resource planning.
  • Work closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, enable performance, and support retention.
  • Act as a consultant for the Leadership Team and other stakeholders by providing HR guidance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, guidelines, programs, and practices.
  • Participate in HR strategy creation and implementation.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Handle HR systems, documents, and employee queries.
  • Address employee concerns, investigate complaints, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including labor relations matters.
  • Analyze HR and relevant data to identify trends, assess performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate organizational change initiatives, employee engagement activities, and development programs.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
  • Perform other people-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Management and other related degree programs
  • Solid (5+ years) work experience in HRBP, HR Generalist or HR specialist role
  • Previous experience transacting with DOLE or NLRC in handling labor disputes and employee grievances
  • Previous experience in performance improvement and incentive building
  • Strong working knowledge or exposure to software technology, telco or the IT industry
  • A high degree of professionalism, propriety and morale
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage day-to-day requests while proactively driving a strategic people agenda
  • Neutrality and ability to think critically in complicated situations
  • Experience in a B2B Sales organization is a plus
