Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Associate.
The Human Resources Associate shall:
Oversee end-to-end human resources management activities including:
Supervises and coordinates end-to-end recruitment and selection activities.
Reviews manpower requisitions against approved budgets and validates hiring requirements.
Partners with hiring managers to define job requirements, competencies, and hiring timelines.
Develops and implements internal and external sourcing strategies, including referrals, job portals, campus recruitment, and other channels.
Conducts interviews and candidate assessments, particularly for supervisory and managerial positions.
Evaluates candidate qualifications and prepares assessment and recommendation reports.
Coordinates job offers, pre-employment requirements, background checks, and appointment documentation.
Monitors recruitment activities and ensures timely submission of reports.
Ensures efficient and timely delivery of HR services and employee benefit programs.
Processes government-mandated, company-initiated, and CBA-related benefits.
Coordinates with Head Office on benefit guidelines, updates, and employee concerns.
Recommends improvements to streamline HR transactions and enhance employee service delivery.
Maintains accurate, complete, and confidential employee records, including 201 files.
Ensures timely filing, updating, retrieval, and safekeeping of HR documents.
Maintains and updates HR information systems and plant employee records.
Prepares and submits accurate HR reports covering headcount, movements, transfers, promotions, and new hires.
Prepares management reports and provides timely updates on HR-related matters to the Plant HR Manager.
Supports the administration of the HR Department budget and processing of third-party service provider billings.
Ensures compliance with HR policies, procedures, and established processes.
Graduate of Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any related field; license and/or certification is an advantage;
With at least 2 years of experience handling human resources activities; exposure in food and beverage manufacturing industry in as advantage; exposure in both organized and non-organized workplaces is preferred;
With aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry including, but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;
With deep proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and
Has a good team-player, customer-centric and innovative work attitude
