Job Summary:
The HR and Administrative Manager is a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO. The position leads the overall Human Resources and Administration function, ensuring that people strategies, employee programs, labor compliance, and administrative services are aligned with the Company’s business and operational objectives.
The role is responsible for driving talent acquisition and development, employee engagement and retention, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, labor compliance, and the effective delivery of plant and office administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee development, and retention programs.
- Lead training and development initiatives based on organizational and workforce needs.
- Ensure effective performance management processes and support managers in developing their teams.
- Oversee timekeeping, payroll coordination, statutory benefits, company benefits, rewards, incentives, and other employee programs.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefits and HR-related services.
- Oversee the Company clinic and employee health and wellness programs.
- Lead employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary management, and employee communication processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and consistent implementation of HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE, NLRC, Philippine labor laws, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Represent the Company in relevant external organizations, assessments, and audits, including LTAI, SEIPI, and SMETA programs.
- Oversee administrative operations and support services, including security, canteen, housekeeping, shuttle services, company vehicles/car fleet, and other facility-related services.
- Manage external service providers and contractors, ensuring service quality, compliance, cost effectiveness, and continuity.
- Coordinate with internal departments to address workplace and administrative requirements.
- Plan and coordinate company-wide activities, employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, CSR activities, and other organizational events.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong experience in HR management, employee relations, labor compliance, recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in handling labor audits, SMETA or social compliance audits, and other regulatory assessments is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
