Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking an HR Workforce Analytics Specialist to transform enterprise HR data into actionable insights that support strategic workforce planning and data-driven decision-making. The role partners with HR leadership and the HRIS Reporting & Analytics team to analyze workforce trends, develop recommendations, and present findings to senior HR leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a analytics or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 4+ years in Workforce analytics or related analytics.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience with enterprise HR data as input.
• Experience with large multi-source HR datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and SQL.
• Power BI experience to build dashboards/reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workforce data across HR functions to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
• Deliver focused analyses on retention, turnover, exit/stay interviews, and workforce planning.
• Translate findings into practical recommendations for workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop executive-level workforce insights, presentations, and concise briefs for senior HR leadership.
• Present recommendations, explain methodology, and respond to questions from senior leaders.
• Apply statistical, trend, and forecasting methods to HR topics (turnover, hiring demand, planning).
• Support Oracle Analytics adoption and predictive analytics initiatives.
