About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Malate, Manila City, Metro Manila. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial leadership role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across our facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations, managing team performance, and ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional housekeeping practices. This position is integral to our commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and creating welcoming environments for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure optimal team performance and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas and facilities to maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement
• Address guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally
• Maintain detailed records of room status, maintenance issues and staff performance
• Coordinate with maintenance and front-office teams to ensure seamless operations and rapid response to issues
• Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental standards across all housekeeping operations
• Monitor staff productivity, punctuality and adherence to uniform and conduct standards
• Conduct orientation and training programmes for new housekeeping personnel
• Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, budget compliance and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in housekeeping supervision or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, cleaning techniques, laundry management and guest services
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
• Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and basic computer skills
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required by operational needs
