Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other spaces to high hygiene standards.
• Change bed linens and ensure beds are properly arranged.

• Dust, sweep and mop floors; keep surfaces clean.
• Sanitize bathrooms, toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs.
• Polish mirrors and glass surfaces; maintain streak-free finish.
• Restock guest rooms and common areas with towels, toiletries and amenities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Follow health and safety protocols in cleaning tasks.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and teamwork to complete tasks efficiently.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Santo Tomas City, Batangas, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and overall appearance of our facilities. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and organisation, directly contributing to the positive experience of our guests and visitors. This role is essential to maintaining the reputation and success of our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other assigned spaces to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
• Change bed linens, make beds and ensure all bedding is fresh and properly arranged
• Empty and replace waste bins, and dispose of rubbish appropriately
• Dust, sweep and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free from debris
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs
• Polish mirrors, windows and other glass surfaces to ensure a streak-free finish
• Restock guest rooms and common areas with supplies such as towels, toiletries and other amenities
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or items in need of repair to the supervisor
• Follow all health and safety protocols and use cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of guests whilst performing duties
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to complete tasks efficiently

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to your responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends as required
